John,
a physicist by training, has over 30 years experience in technology
product development and management in the telecommunications and
defense industries. He has deep experience in “greenfield”
product development, strategic planning, product modeling, patents,
regulator relationships, and technology alliances and has utilized
these skills in both startup and Fortune 50 environments. John has
deep wireless technology domain expertise having developed systems
ranging from the VHF band through infrared spectrum. His experience
pre-dates the first US cellular systems, and includes radio-telephones,
ship-to-shore communications, and GPS. John’s body of work
includes user equipment, network equipment, fixed and mobile technologies,
and covers both hardware and software. Prior to founding Incucomm,
John was General Manager of Cellular Products for Crosspan. At this
position John closed the largest OEM deal Ericsson had ever done
at the time. |
